The brief began around 9:30 and the brand image policy was explained to the designers by Guillaume Reiner design manager at Seb. But perhaps more interesting for them, the discussion really took place around examples like the fryer without oil or the Delo Lindo lines where ideas and innovations were mixed. All the designers arrived to the conclusion that the project should be more a prospective one than a deeply technical one because of the time they have left which encourages to develop a story and its result in volume.
WHAT PROJECT ARE THEY WORKING ON ?
The topic is to “give a favourite household appliance a new design.”
They have then 10 days to conceive a new product from the choice they made of a little household appliance they have alwaus known. Between June, 20 and July, 1st, the 8 projects are going to be prototyped by Seb. The jury is to award the winner who will receive from Seb 10,000 euros.
