Workshops


One afternoon a month, the villa Noailles organises 4 workshops for children in fields of:
fashion, Léa Peckre
photography, Morgane Le Gall
design, Julien Renault
architecture, Laure Dezeuze

For 7-12 children, registred for one year and children from city associations (Contrats Urbains de Cohésion Sociale).

Learning fashion, photography, design and architecture with professional artists, the children show their works on early June during a one-day public exhibition and fashion show.

2012 // October 13 . November 17 . December 15.
2013 // January 12 . February 2 . March 9 . April 6 . May 11 . June 8.

Two 4-days workshops will be done, in the same fields and for 7-12 children, the week before Christmass and in July.

SCHOOLS


3 kinds of visits and workshops are available :

DISCOVER... PHOTOGRAPHY, ARCHITECTURE, FASHION, DESIGN
Visit of the current exhibition with curator for the teachers.
After booking the visit day, a guided tour of the exhibition is done by our educational team.
Educational booklets are available to learn in villa Noailles and continue at school, as part of a school programme.

MEET... A PHOTOGRAPHER, AN ARCHITECT, A FASHION DESIGNER,  A DESIGNER
Teachers must send a dossier to participate. One-day or one-week workshop with an artist, with a small group of children. The artist develops artworks with children according to teaching programme.

TEACHING COURSE
Based on villa Noailles architecture and the permanent exhibition on Charles and Marie-Laure de Noailles. Adapted to age of the children and to art teaching programme, the course take place in several rooms of the villa, with booklets and animated by education team.

The teaching sessions must be booked in advance.

FAMILIES


Family workshops programme is based on current exhibitions. After explaining his/her work, the artist (fashion designer, photographer, designer, architect) proposes a workshop to children and his/her family (parents, grand-parents, cousins...). Family work together to make artworks  and keep them at the end of the workshop.
